Drupad App and Module

Great pair of tools that give site owners greater control and flexibility. They are definitely worth researching and testing.

I recently downloaded the Drupad module and purchased the Drupad App from the iTunes store. The two have changed the speed at which I can monitor, control, and promote my, and my client's Drupal sites.

I recently purchased a theme for Drupal® from themesmania (username) at ThemeForest.Net and I am completely satisfied with the theme, especially considering the modest amount of money that I spent.

In a word ... wow! The theme was effortless to purchase and a snap to install. Plus, since I used the City Magazine installation profile it literally took minutes to have a fully-functioning attractive Website. There are so many positive things to say about this theme it is hard to know where to begin. The theme is built on the base theme Fusion, which means you can control some important design and layout elements from the back-end.

I have been dreading this theme review for months. Let me explain. As a fan of the amazing and powerful CMS program Drupal®, I believe that ALL theme solutions are important. For Drupal to continue to develop into a world class publishing tool for EVERYONE, it should be easily made into an attractive publication.

Right before Christmas I flew to Chicago and provided Drupal training to a regional library. When they recently released their newly designed Drupal site, I was amazed.

What are theme clubs and are they safe investments?

Have you seen the Drupal® purchased theme providers (aka clubs) that are starting to emerge on the horizon? I am delighted to see growth in this under-developed segment of the Drupal® landscape. As we all know, Drupal® is known for it's brains and brawn and not for it's good looks. Great! Looks are much less important to the core of the program than aesthetics.

Interested in Drupal training in Santa Barbara California and Reno Nevada? Great because we are offering two sets of training for beginning - intermediate users and administrators of Drupal software.

Drupal Training will be provided in Santa Barbara and Reno during the months of March and April, 2009. There are five training sessions that will be offered between the two cities.

What type of site should I use to create a site that is searchable and easily updated?

I recently received a question from a professional in Long Beach California who asks "Can I use a CMS like Joomla or Drupla to make a site searchable and easily updatable? Any suggestions?" My answer is YES! Drupal and Joomla are clearly great programs that make a site easy to update and search.
